oh ho ho! i tend to think of comics in general being a neverending cape soap opera so i’m not sure what to tell you.

i’ve stopped reading AA because of degree-related reasons but it wasn’t terrible if you could hack the new teenybopper characters. perhaps try the ultimates vols 1-2? not main universe canon and, well, mark millar can be a bit take-it-or-leave-it, but it’s heavy on big pym and it’s more GRITTY REALISM than cape soap.

other than that he’s been in a couple of marvel adventures super heroes which have been ADORABLE (but they’re not giant!hank :() (but they’re numbers #10, 13 and 20 i think? i’m a bit rusty.).

but the best thing to pick up is probably his run on mighty avengers. issues 21 to 36! they might be a bit cape soapy but they’re damn good cape soapy.

I HOPE THIS HELPED. i’m a bit out of the loop comics-wise so if anybody who hasn’t given up on me has any other suggestions then pls 2 b writing them in! and hopefully once my degree is OVER AND DONE WITH i can start catching up with my favourite avenger. 8)
